In partnership with the Associate Dean for Research we are pleased to offer Community-Academic Research Partnership Funds to advance collaborations between SPH researchers with community partners in Providence and Rhode Island.  

This funding opportunity is intended to:

• Connect
  research expertise to a community-originated inquiry around a topic relevant to local public health efforts and interests.
• Support
  the creation and delivery of tangibly useful tools for community health efforts resulting from research; or
• Strengthen
  existing relationships anticipated to lead toward further funding opportunities for public health research locally.

Occasionally community organizations reach out to extend an invited speaker request to faculty with particular interest and expertise, so that they may inform local efforts/audiences about their work or specialty topic area. If you’d like to be part of an informal Speakers Bureau for community organizations to potentially share a request to speak, sign up here.
