Community-Engaged MPH Practicum Experiences
The Community-Engaged MPH Practicum Experience creates ongoing partnerships with community-based organizations that advance public health in Providence and Rhode Island. These partnerships surface and match community-identified projects to student skill, knowledge, and passion, and provide students with funding so that they may participate in robust applied practice experiences that fulfill the MPH practicum requirement of the MPH Program. We seek student participants that want to enhance local relationships and contribute to efforts to build trust over time, as well as positively impact health in the state as part of sustained and collaborative efforts.
