Mindfulness Center

The Mindfulness Center at Brown offers free daily mindfulness sessions open to the public to help ease anxiety and build community.

Rhode Island Life Index

The School of Public Health partners with Blue Cross Blue Shield Rhode Island to create the RI Life Index, an annual survey of Rhode Islanders’ perceptions of the social determinants of health and well-being.

Open Door Health

An initiative of the RI Public Health Institute, Open Door Health provides primary and sexual health care services to LGBTQ+ Rhode Islanders.

The Swearer Center

The Swearer Center partners with a wide range of entities (nonprofit organizations, local educational agencies, state/local government agencies, etc.). They ‘match’ these entities with the institutional resources/stakeholders that are best positioned to collaborate with them to advance their work.

The Community-Engaged Data and Evaluation Collaborative (CEDEC)

The Community-Engaged Data & Evaluation Collaborative (CEDEC) leverages Brown University’s resources to address data, evaluation and research priorities identified and valued by nonprofit and public agencies in Rhode Island.
